# Doelstelling Open Proces Huis

Met Open Proces Huis willen we alle info over processen van lokale besturen beschikbaar maken voor hergebruik. Zowel op een mens- als op een machineleesbare manier.

Het Open Proces Huis is een digitale procesbibliotheek waarin alle **lokale besturen** (met uitzondering van besturen van de erediensten) informatie over processen met elkaar kunnen delen; één centrale bron voor essentiële procesinformatie. 

**Op die manier kunnen lokale besturen elkaar inspireren en inzichten van elkaar hergebruiken.** Het beoogt het stimuleren van actieve samenwerking en uitwisseling van procesinformatie tussen lokale overheden en hun dienstverleners.

Hiermee streeft het Open Proces Huis niet alleen naar procesoptimalisatie, maar ook naar de vorming van een **ecosysteem** waarin lokale overheden gezamenlijk transparante processen creëren, aansluitend bij de bredere beweging van verbeterde gemeentelijke dienstverlening met specifieke focus op herkenbaarheid van processen door burgers (klantgerichtheid) en efficiëntie.

## Wat is Open Proces Huis niet?&#x20;

* Het is GEEN toepassing om processen in uit te tekenen of te bewerken. Daarvoor bestaan reeds heel wat goede [oplossingen](/informatie-oph/handleiding-oph-module-in-loket-lokale-besturen/meer-info-over-tools-om-bpmn-diagrammen-mee-te-maken.md) die al ruim gebruikt worden door lokale besturen.&#x20;
* Het is GEEN toepassing om processen in uit te voeren. Om dezelfde reden.&#x20;
* Open Proces Huis wil ook niet noodzakelijk standerisering van processen verplichten. We geloven wel dat door samenwerking, delen en hergebruiken van procesinformatie meer gestandaardiseerde processen zullen komen bovendrijven.&#x20;
