Reason to exist

OrganisatiePortaal is the base for managing, editing & finding contacts.

OrganisatiePortaal functions as the central register within ABB to share contact data between our own products and applications:

  • Kalliope: Link to information in dutch on SharePoint Kalliope is the internal file handling system within the Agency for Home Affairs (ABB).

  • Loket voor lokale besturen: The 'Loket voor lokale besturen' is an application in which the Local Governments in Flanders can communicate with the Agency for Home Affairs (ABB).

  • Gelinkt Notuleren: Gelinkt Notuleren is a web application that helps with the creation and publication of agendas, minutes and decisions for Local Authorities.

OrganisatiePortaal seeks to centralise the scattered contact information within the department. This contact information is converted from various sources such as different SharePoint lists within ABB.

We have 4 different types of contacts:

  • Organisations (Organisaties)

    • Local authorities (Lokale besturen)

    • Associations (Verenigingen) > To be developed

    • Companies (Ondernemingen) > To be developed

  • Persons (Personen)
