Feature passport for related organisations

Goal

Find a better way of displaying related organisations for an administrative unit or organisation.

Current solution

The related organisations are shown as a list in a card within Kerngegevens:

Problem

When the list of related organisations becomes too long*:

• There is no way for the user to sort or filter through these. A User has to read all the organisation names to find the one they're looking for.

• In the event of adding new cards to the Kerngegevens in the future, the user would have to scroll for a long time.

*Currently, 40 out of the 312 administrative units have 10 or more related organisations. This is for Worship services only. This number increases exponentially with Representatieve organen, and will with other types of organisations added to the Organisation Portal in the future.

Design

Proposed solution

• To treat related organisation as a separate page within an administrative unit/organisation, rather than a card in Kerngegevens.

• To show the related organisation in a table rather than a card.

  • This would allow sorting related organisation by type or name

  • Allow adding filters (by name or type) if needed in the future

If we believe 10 is not "too many" related organisations, there are only 2 with more than 20 in the context of worship services. In that case, we could decide to only implement this in Organisations later on, as a Representatief orgaan is part of that module, rather than being an administrative unit.

This means:

• In the module administrative units, we do not have any changes.

• In future new modules for organisations (incl. representatieve organen now) we add a new page for related organisations.
